I hope that won't be such an issue with the N1. I am a "light" user, so I can't imagine draining it extremely quickly, but to the end of the day would be nice. Their next platform, Windows Phone 7, looks to be quite a catch-up but won't be released anytime soon. I think you're safe in your prejudices.
