Back to the Future has been added to the National Film Registry. This pleases me. I really need to get my poster framed.
Also, Steam is offering discounts on all games sold by them through the end of the year -- you can own every game Valve has ever made (!) for $75!
UPDATE: I never ended up buying anything new....I own their whole catalog anyway

Tycho's news posting today was really quite fantastic. I'm sure many most people don't care about the specifics of a Playstation 3 video game, but I just love reading what he writes; like a Nader relevant to this generation.

Wow, it's gonna be awful, but I'm still going to watch it. It's probably influenced by the 8 episodes of Arrested Development we've just watched. If you haven't seen the series, you must get it now.

They said it couldn't be done. The "technician" at the Sprint Service Center, my co-workers: all said it couldn't be done.
The challenge? Retrieving the photographs saved on my old phone....my old phone that no longer had a screen attached. I, however, navigated the menus without the screen, retrieved a long lost data cable, and voila!
